This is some really great chemistry for RA4 printing. I simply process in trays at room temperature and give it double the reccomended time in each chemical and it works perfectly – no other chemistry set has done that!
It also lasts a long time in storage as I mixed mine in 1l batches and left the undiluted chemistry in the default bottles and they lasted about 7 months until I used them recently and once again faultless.
Solid chemistry at a great price

Bought this kit ages ago but only got round to using it today, very pleased. The chemistry was easy to mix into small batches, not particularly smelly compared to previous RA4 chemistry I’ve used.
Results were excellent and temperature tolerant, I have no way to sustain a constant temperature (1 or 2 degrees C out seems to work great)

I order this a few days ago and it arrived today in great condition, well packed so things didn’t get broken on the journey, A big thank you. It will be my first time developing colour so I’m excited.
I have to say I’m impressed with the serves so far.
A constructive comment would be could you offer a next day delivery service? (As an option at checkout? (I ordered through your eBay store)
If there was an easier to find link on your eBay store I would of ordered direct from you (saves you commission).
Another plus is there are instructions in the box,
I would just liked to of know how many rolls of film the kit will process before I have to reorder.
Thanks guys! It’s great to see smaller independent businesses showing the bigger ones how it’s done!

Thanks for your kind words Barry! we hope you enjoy using your kit, should you have any questions dont hesitate to ask.
We would offer a next day service if we could but at the moment it isnt possible as we have to book a courier as opposed to having a daily collection, but that may change in the future. Sadly Ebay dont allow links to websites in listings or ours would be all over the ebay store 😉

Used this kit for the first time last night. I am relatively new to darkroom printing, having only put a darkroom together a couple of months ago. In the few prints that I did last night I have to say that anyone who is curious about trying to print colour, please give it a go! It’s not as hard as you may think. I used it a room temperature, and developed for 1:30. It worked very well. I read a little about colour theory before hand, so was able to correct colour casts reasonably well. At this stage I don’t think it’s any harder than black and white printing, to get a good black and white print there’s a little trial and error and this is no different.
Only question I have is, do I need to use a stop bath?
Nikki Coulson –
Hi Geoff, Thanks for your comments and glad you got on well with this kit! As for stop bath, the question is did your prints turn out ok without it? It sounds like it so trust in Mr Bellini, if its not there, you dont need it! We have learned to trust him implicitly

I cannot recommend this product highly enough and feel it should get a bit more exposure. Really high quality chemistry that is easy to use and mix, has low odour, seems very resilient to temperature differences and other mishaps of the home dark room, is competitively priced but most importantly of all produces consistently beautiful results.
Processing in a rotary drum at room temp (extending dev+blix times because of this) and printing on to good ol’ pre-cut Fuji Crystal Archive.
Coming from doing B&W, this colour lark is no way near as scary and difficult as people often make it out to be, give it a go and have some fun!

Much nicer than RA4 chemistry I have been using until now.
Easy to make up and unfussy to use. It is really lush and so are the results I get from this kit.
Thanks people, you were so right!

What lovely rich chemistry, a marked difference to anything else I have used before and that alone brings in a lot of reassurance and confidence that wasn’t there before.
That actually seems to add to the quality of results, never have I achieved such rich colours and tones, noticably so on Fuji Crystal papers that are now getting a bit long in the tooth.
In all honesty i just cannot heap enough praise on this kit. Five star plus!

Superb kit. I am using it in a Nova tank at 35C, draining out into bottles after use, squeezing out the air and re-using next time with replenishment. It has worked like this for 2 months now with no noticeable deterioration. Good value too.
