Brutal…The Pilot Station, Folkestone ~ Fine Art Photographic Print

A few cried into their beer over the loss of this building….I would have done too briefly but having photographed the interiors first, trust me it wasn’t nice in there….that top platfom being not only too small to be useful but also as it turned out…bloody danderous!

Access too was very limited….almost couldn’t fit up the spiral stairs with a camera aroung my neck, the lift being appropriately proportioned for a gnome….and upon arrival…yes nice view but the smell and depth of pidgeon poop was pretty nasty.

Another building that was in reality, beyond redemption….collapsing into it’s own flooded basement.

But it was a tad iconic in it’s short life….so here’s a closer view for you and some hint of how bad it was in the gallery
