Usually colour films but also some black & white such as Ilford XP2 but with the addition of fine quality prints from our Fuji Drylab.

You have in these package seals a choice of prints from either Jpg or Tiff scans in sizes of 6×4 or 6×9 inches.  They are presented in a choice of glossy or lustre finishes, if you have a preference please state so in the order at checkout

Prices shown are of course per film and our Order From come Price List can be downloaded HERE!

The HS-1800 will provide you with Jpg files that are compressed at approximately 1.3 to 2.2 megabytes…to decompress them and get the full fat files you will need to open them up in photo editing software such as Photoshop, Lightroom or Hasselblad Phocus (it’s free!) etc and the files will expand in size up to 3x before you even edit them!

The 16bit Tiff files from this marvellous scanner for our basic service level are not compressed, they come in at a pretty huge 32 megabytes approximately….that’s a great result for a great price.

We also offer even bigger scans should you want them, you will find that product listed too!

If you’re a bit of a geek or just love to know how things work then you can read more about that and scanning details and resolutions on our little blog HERE….when there you can also find out how to carry out some basic optimisation your files

Please be aware that the postage charged at checkout is to cover the return post for your negatives…negatives are precious look after them!

Scans will be delivered via WeTransfer or Dropbox, so you’ll have those before your negs arrive but if you should like them on a disk or prefer would like to upgrade to archival glassine pages instead of the plastic sleeving please click HERE and add those options to your basket 🙂
