ECN2 Special Processing for Xpan & Panoramic Inc Special Scanning Service!

Developing and scanninng service for ENC2 films shot on panoramic cameras such as the Russian Horizons, Hasselblad Xpan & Fuji TX-1…

Utilises our world renowned ECN2 processing but with the addition of specialist scanning using our Noritsu HS-180.

Resolutions required for panoramic formats by far exceed that needed for the 24mm x 36mm usual format of 35mm thus scanning takes more time and more resources that produce pretty large files….

We’re talking resolutions of around 12297×4497 that gives us 15mb jpg that umcompress to about 30mb jpg.   Tiff will be much more…more than you need!

We can offer prints but prefer to do so on an individual basis…now, do take a look at the notes below, they are relevant 🙂

It is fair to sat that over the years we have pioneered the use of these lovely films in the wider market and have been at the forefront of evolving processing of these in a stills photography environment.

With the help of the lovely guys at BelliniFoto in Italy we now offer the most effective service in terms of cleanly processing and presenting the images made using Motion Picture film stocks.

• There will be no pushing nor pulling of films speeds, there is enough latitude in the Vision films without.
• Remember, we are using these films stocks in this way is not the way they are designed to be used therefore,  even with our skills and yours, allow a small margin for flaws such as the rare occasion where a tiny remnant of remjet may be present.  Though we do get these really REALLY clean in the hand part of the procedure but these should be scanned using Digital Ice to ensure better, cleaner results.
• This is the best processing available for the following films:  Kodak Vision3 500T, 250D, 50D, 200T and the Fuji Eterna films that we offer.
• Due to the need for some hands-on work during processing, turnaround times will be longer than for other colour films

Please be aware that the postage charged at checkout is to cover the return post for your negatives…negatives are precious look after them!
