This all new ECN2 kit from Jobo is the very latest high quality offering for those wanting to process motion picture films either at home or as a small lab.

Especially formulated with the the stills market in mind due to the increasing popularity of the use motion picture film stocks…which has become more feasible for day to day use in stills photography thanks in no small part to the enthusiastic efforts of Nik & Trick over the past eight years.

This chemistry will allow you to achieve exactly that very specific look which you would be expecting from your motion picture film, it has a yield of around 30 films.

The dynamic range and tonal range of motion picture film is legendary, it’s velvet colours and soft look were important for simple duplication of the film using a positive film. Today the same characteristics make motion picture film easy to scan.

The 2.5 litre kit includes a pre bath to remove the remjet layer, colour developer, stop bath, bleach and fixer – all for using this process in any appropriate rotary processor…The stabiliser which should be applied in a separate bath outside any developing tanks is also included.
