PMK Pyro the Nik & Trick Way.  Of course, this fantastic black and white film developer has been around for years, it originally formulated by the great Gordon Hutchings.

Originally designed as a universal developer for a wide variety of modern emulsions. It yields fine grained negatives with superb sharpness and highlight detail.

Our PMK Pyro and Pyrocat-HD, are made using the finest ingredients from BelliniFoto.  These are far safer alternatives to TEA based Pyro developers, which are highly Toxic in their concentrated form.

Even so, we suggest that extra special care must be taken when handling this product, we highly recommend the use of gloves, goggles too maybe and use it in a nicely ventilated area.  As additional precaution our version is supplied in child proof capped chemical safe bottles.

Having said that, PMK Pyro is not a difficult product to use, it’s been around so long there’s a multitude of times for a multitude of films out there, Massive Dev Chart being nicely populated of course.

To make the working solution it’s easy!  For every 100ml to be used add 1ml of Part A and 2ml of Part B.

It’s a bit particular so many recommend a couple of minutes pre-soak just to get rid of any anti-halation layers, this would be more vital with films by Foma and Adox but isn’t a bad rule to adhere to.
