Rollei Infra-Red IR400 35mm has a senesity that sees beyond the human eye, by filtering the visible light we see with the use of an IR720 filter permits it to show the surreal world of infra-red that surrounds us.
IR720 filters are available HERE and will reduce film speed in the same way a neutral dentsity filter does but by about four stops.
This film processes in most modern b&w developers but for the best aura effect we recommend BelliniFoto Nucleol BF200 (the best pyro developer on the planet!)
Our sample shots in the gallery for this lovely film were made by metering at 25asa as details above. Then fitting the 720nm filter to shoot and then processed in Bellini / Ornano Nucleol BF200 developer….

Rollei InfraRed IR400 is a special infrared film with sensitivity stated by the manufacturer up to 820 nm and an ISO of 400 without filtering. Excellent tonality and resolving power of 160 Lp/mm. Contrast is normal to high.
Special AURA effects can be obtained by overexposing film. Full Datasheet HERE!
Use with 720nm IR filter and meter with that fitted at 12 -25asa. For great results try it in Bellini / Ornano Nucleol BF200 for 13mins, as per our sample shots…
