Samsung ECX1 35mm Compact Porsche Designed ~ Near Mint

The Samsung ECX1 were not cheap at £300 new, back in the 1990s. This was Samsung’s attempt to make the ultimate compact 35mm camera.

Few other other compact has so many options: multi beam auto focus, interval timer, 2 sec delay timer, exposure compensation, fuzzy logic, fixed focus, fill flash, anti redeye, landscape (infinity focus), double exposure, remote control, double exposure etc etc. not to mention the cracking schnieder 38-140 zoom lens.

Designed by Porsche and fitted with a lens designed and manufactured by Schneider it’s a pretty cool formula.

This example in terrific condition and fitted with a brace of new Energizer CR123a it’s just going to have to be film tested…it’s too good to resist!
