Schneider Super-Angulon 165mm f8 in Compur 3 Shutter for 8×10, 10×8 ~ Beautiful, Rare, Boxed

From the estate of the late great John Couzins….a consumate professional whom we know doted on his kit, comes this rere megalith of a lens.

A super-wide angle for the larger format 10×8 and much favoured by the great man.

This example is in near mint condition, comes with it’s original box, both caps and even a Heliopan UV filter which alone would cost £142 if bought new now.

The Compur shutter and the glass…all mint, speeds good, no fog, haze nor fungus.  It’s been well looked after all these years, but the family realise now that it won’t be used on either of his Gandolfi’s again and that it should now go to someone who’ll use and love it the way John did.
