The Book of Portrait Photography by Our Friend Mayotte Magnus & Jorge Lewinski

Our associations with those whose professional area was Portrait photography is extremely important to us – as our regulars know…..it is also a subject dear to many many others.

So when it came to expanding our small range of guides what could be better than this lovely volume by our famous and lovely friend Mayotte Magnus & her late husband Jorge Lewinski (my father was a fan of his work coincidentally) ~ both names are worth adding into a Google search and a National Portrait Gallery search.

Their work is very special and here they offer a lovely peek into that way of thinking as well as a good practical guide to capturing people at the essence.

Another gold mine of luscious photography that is just awe inspiring and I am certain that when she is back at home here in Folkestone, she’ll be very pleased to autograph any copies that happen to be here 🙂
