Let’s just begin here by saying that this lens is my favourited lens EVER for 35mm photography (and digital to be fair)

I bought this a number of years ago from a lovely lady who used it for one assignment for a travel magazine so it came to me in mint condition and even had the rare and impressive HK-9 hood.

This lens is so beautiful, so yes I too have looked after it with extra dilligence, fitting it with a ultra thin and expensive UV filter as soon as I got it.

I have used this for fun and to good occasional use on a local commission, photographing the Harbour renovations, the client loved the shots this produced. (using FM2n, F5 and D800)

So, there’s the history of a wonderful bit of glass that has been kept in immaculate condition.  I’m going to be gutted to see it go to be open with you.
