Flash Gold is made from a colour negative aerial film (same emulsion as Flic Elektra) that has been cut to medium format then pre-flashed and hand rolled by our good mate Dean.
The sample shots shown are not double exposure, but Dean reckons “More like a rayograph” as real-life objects and textures are used, their images are flashed directly onto the film in the darkroom.
That’s right folks! Light is deliberately leaked onto the film to form a basis for some really imaginative photographs.
Expose at 50 to 100asa and enjoy the surprise of this experimental film!
