Sold in packs of 50 sheets, each sheet holding a 35mm film cut into strips of six frames, and designed to fit almost any A4 ring binder.
Our glassine sleeves are made of acid- and lignin-free photo glassine. They have a high level of transparency is achieved by a special mechanical treatment called calendaring.
The main advantage of glassine over acetate is the ability to allow any moisture which may find its way in to evaporate again, this generally makes glassine sheets more suitable for archiving than acetate and that’s why our own archive is in pristine condition, dating as far back as 1958…so this really is tried and trusted and thoroughly tested!!
