Nik & Trick’s Cyanotype Sensitiser by BelliniFoto has come about via another collaboration with our colleagues in Perugia
“Working in unison since 2016”
We’re so often being asked for cyanotype chemistry but have found that the components sold individually make up far too much for the average used to deal with.
So we asked our guys and this is what they came up with. Perfecto!! 😀
Cyanotype sensitiser can be used to coat nearly anything, from paper and fabrics through to objects, stone, pebbles, wood. You can let your imagination take you just about anywhere.
It is also relatively safe to use, great for doing creative things with kids etc (under supervision) and you’ll find SO much information and inspiration online it’s amazing.
Basically mix together equal amounts of Part A and Part B then coat your surface evenly, expose it then develop it under cold water, the colder the better.
Cyanotype prints can also be toned. Tea for example makes rather lovely warm tone prints, pomegranate juice for purple hue and a whole gamut of others can be used too!
If this sells well, and should demand dictate we’ll ask for 2x 250ml later on.
Available with or without a hake brush for even coating.
