The new GP3 is a truly lovely film and comes in at a really really good price…however, having used this film extensively ourselves and seen ho w much our customers love it, we now no longer consider GP3 to be a cheap alternative to FP4+.
No, it’s a contender and one that perhaps now represents the best value b&w film currently on the market.

Shanghai GP3 100asa Black & White Film 120 Roll is now based on the lovely Orwo UN54 emulsion is a revalation…a truly lovely black and white film that comes to us at a superb price.
We have used this time and again and found it to be faultless, customers have had the same experience and this has now become one of our core products…in 2021 we worked with the factory to introduce this is a range of other formats too, 127, 620 and even 220 all of which are now widely used and well received.
Quality is very very high and Development can be done in most modern developers and times are listed on the Massive Dev Chart HERE!

The value to quality ratio on this film is great, I have two rolls which have been great to shoot at box speed. I’m looking forward to pushing this film out of its usual boundaries and experimenting, giving that it’s a cheap film stock, I’ll be more inclined to experiment.
