Pentax PC-606W Weatherproof 35mm Compact c/w Rare Case

Pentax PC-606W Weatherproof 35mm Compact is a compact 35mm point & shoot film camera from the era when “automatic” meant freedom, not compromise!

The “W” in its name stands for Weatherproof, meaning it features tight rubber seals providing a JIS Class 4 splashproof rating to protect against rain, mud, and water splashes but do please note that:  Despite its name and rubber-sealed body it is not an underwater camera!

If you haven’t heard of this one before it’s armed with a wide‑angle lens, built‑in flash, and a motorized film advance, it was designed for travelers, families, and anyone who wanted sharp fuss free photos.

In fact, Its simplicity also makes it a strong choice for anyone who wants a secondary camera alongside something more substantial as this fits smoothly into a pocket but can be ready to fire in rapid time.

You’ll need DX coded film (most are anyway!), we think this weill be ideal with Lucky Colour C200, Kodak Ultramax and the new Optik Oldschool Opticolour 200 for example….for b&w we’d say Kodak Tmax and Ilford XP2 Super 😉

This one is a nice example in great condition, new battery fitted and the light seal is just fine.
