Cinestill (Kodak) Double-X Black & White Film in 120

Eastman Kodak 5222 Double X is a classic cinematic film much favoured by stills photographers in the US for decades, we have sourced factory fresh stock so this as a 35mm film has been available from Nik & Trick longer than from any other vendor in the UK

Makes 6 to 6400asa but expect best results at the native 250asa although we have tested this to 3200asa with no visible affects to it’s lovely full tonality.

Double-X is easy to develop at home, just like any other black and white film.

There is no remjet on this (an FAQ) it will develop in just about any b&w developer, plus we stock Eastman Kodak recommended chemistry, BellinFoto D96 and Fix F5 should you want that authentic motion picture look….it comes up lovely in our own developers too, especially “Colin”

Nope…no Remjet on this film!   Just use as per any other b&w film with the added confidence of having extraordinary push/pull available!

Note that until we get the chance to shoot a roll the sample photos have been made using the 35mm Double-X that we have offered for many years!
