Bronica S2 (S2A) Rare Black Version in Almost Pristine Condition

Bronica S2 (S2A) Rare Black Version is the first I’ve ever seen in this colour but before we go on, let me just assure you that I am no afficionado on these hefty, but gorgeous 6×6 format cameras.

Hence you’ll see S2 and S2A in the title and that’s because even long term owners and enthusiasts don’t seem to be able to offer a definitive answer anway! 😀

• Some say about the mirror fitting, if it has four screws like this one, then it’s S2A but then say but could also be a late S2.
• Some say about the serial number, this one says CB 118780, and then come up with the same resolution, so that didn;t help either!
• Others say about the cranking lever, general opine on that one would say this is an S2A and something about the colour of the strap lugs which then says something else.

So after all that research I’m none the wiser so it’s a relief that all the “experts” agree on one thing:  You’d never notice the differnce anyways as there’s nothing whatsoever that would make one in terms of use and ownership of this fine camera!

So let’s talk about this one shall we?

Hopefully the photos show how lovely this is, pretty much spotless throughout with just the teeniest signs of use, so good is this in fact that there’s still some factory protective covering on the film back.

Oh, yes that reminds me, it can handle 120 and 220 on that same back, both of which formats we have in stock.

She also has the super excellent Nikkor 75mm f2.8 which is a killer…

We’ve set a good price on this, one that reflects colour, quality and especially condition…hoping to get time to use it myself before she goes and get a roll of Lucky Colour C200 through! 😀
