Vintage Orwo B104 aka Agfa Blautol Paper Developer once had quite a cult following according to a brief look around the interweb…

Like a few Orow chemical products B104 was based on previous Agfa formulae, this one known as Blautol by Agfa.

B104 is we are told: an “amazing that paper developer that went pitch black with a deep blue undertone” which reflects exactly the name given it by Agfa!

Importantly for some, this developer offers the potential to extend development times without causing yellowing or fogging

Obviously this stuff is not new, thus is sold as seen but should be fun to play with and I reckon…should be lovely with the Shanghai papers.

B104 comes as Part A and Part B, the latter you will find will be a bit solid and will therefore need breaking up prior to being dissolved.

Instructions are included and tell how easy it is to mix up to it’s full 2.5lt volume. There’s even an English section!
