Olympus M-1 c/w M-System 50mm f1.4, the fast lens bearing the correct details!

It’s in great condition, more so given that it’s now a good 50 years old, lens is clean and clear, viewfinder is clean and clear so it’s all good!

Best of all, it has now been serviced by our genius engineer.

New Wein Cell fitted shows an active meter that compares well to the Nikon FM3a we bought with it, light seals look recent to me so I haven’t put new ones in.

Supplied with the screw on metal lens cap and proper Olympus hard metal lens hood shown.

Olympus M-1 is a bit of a legend in certain circles, these are rare here in the northern hemisphere due to Olympus having to ditch the “M-System” under threat of legal action by Leica so they regathered and introduced the “OM System” with the then all new OM1.

Yes that’s right, this is the daddy of that legendary series!
